Our Revenues Service has established a reputation for delivering high quality services to the residents of Test Valley.
You will be one of three Team Leaders responsible for managing our Revenues & Welfare team, which delivers Council Tax, Business Rates and Housing Benefit services. The team has recently been restructured to improve the way services are delivered, so this is an exciting opportunity to help continue to shape the future delivery of key services to the public.
You will bring excellent people management skills which will be backed up by knowledge of best practice in this area. Experience of working in a customer facing role and in a regulated environment is essential.
Your role will include being the Council’s technical expert on business rates matters. Experience in business rates is advantageous but training will be provided to the successful candidate.
If you are not already IRRV qualified, you will be required to undertake this as part of your role.
