We’ve established a reputation for delivering high quality services to the residents of Test Valley and you’ll be one of three Team Leaders managing the delivery of Council Tax, Business Rates and Housing Benefit services. The team has recently been restructured to improve the way our services are delivered, so this is a great time to join us and help with continuing to shape the future delivery of key services to the public.
Your job will include being the Council’s technical expert on business rates matters including recovery, so a working knowledge of business rates would be an advantage - if you’re not already IRRV qualified, you will be required to undertake this as part of your role.
We pride ourselves on a great working culture so you’ll need to bring excellent people management skills and an understanding of best practice in this area. Experience of working in a customer facing role and a regulated environment is also essential.
