Hours: 37 hours per week
Salary: Grade 10, £48,918 - £55,853 per annum
Overall Job Purpose:
The postholder will be responsible to the Director of Function (Resources) / Section 151 Officer for the provision and management of the following specific areas of operation:-
In undertaking this role the postholder will:-
Secure affordable provision through effective and efficient services to the Council and its customers for the needs and wishes of the community of the Isle of Anglesey County Council.
Assist in the corporate management team of the Resources Function Directorate, including the development, delivery and evaluation of priority services and strategies having regard to local and national priorities.
Lead and ensure the effective management and development of the service and be a professional lead across the directorate on Revenues and Benefit issues.
To provide excellent services and leadership to the Revenues and Benefits service currently including Council Tax, Business Rates, Income, Cashiers, Security Collections, Control Team and Development Team, Benefits, Benefits Fraud and One-Stop Benefits Assessment within a climate of continuous improvement and value for money ensure performance is maximised.
