We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Team Leader wanting to develop their career and help lead the development, implementation and delivery of our Revenues & Welfare services. You will be one of three Team Leaders responsible for managing our team which delivers Council Tax, Business Rates and Housing Benefit services.
With an established reputation within our community for delivering high quality services you’ll play a key part in this, acting as the Council’s technical expert on business rates matters. Experience in business rates is therefore essential.
You’ll have previous experience in Revenues, with the ability to relay complex information clearly, verbally and in writing. Excellent ICT skills as well as previous experience of dealing effectively and courteously with members of the public, both face-to-face and by telephone are also essential. You will also bring with you excellent people management skills, backed up by knowledge of best practice in this area.
To undertake this role you will need access to Local Government systems, which will require you to have Basic Disclosure clearance.
