This is a really exciting opportunity for an experienced systems officer to join a Revenues and Benefits team at a dynamic, fast-growing council based in the historic and picturesque town of Tewkesbury.
We are looking for a Support Team Leader who is able to work collaboratively with colleagues, engage with our customers and develop the use of our systems.
You will have demonstrable knowledge of the core services delivered by the Revenues and Benefits team with a keen interest in exploring new IT solutions and technology to deliver value for money and improve the customer experience.
Ideally you will have an excellent working knowledge of NEC (Northgate) business rates, council tax and housing benefit software and will be experienced in using the Information@Work Enterprise document management system. If you have experience of using other revenues and benefits systems, we also encourage you to apply.
Ability to manage a small team and delegate work effectively is key to this important role, which will also make use of your excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
