The Benefits Team are responsible for delivering all aspects of our Housing Benefit, Council Tax Support and Discretionary Payments Service. The Benefits Assessor will work as part of a small team, being a key contact for technical queries and make decisions on entitlements to Housing Benefit, Council Tax Support and Discretionary Payments. If you have recent experience of working as a Benefits Assessor and experience of using MRI Revenue & Benefits Systems to process claims for housing benefit and council tax support, are performance driven to process claims promptly, are able to organise and prioritise workloads and have used an electronic document management system to assess claims, we would love to hear from you.
