Benefits & Revenues Officer / Revenues & Benefits Officer
£26,409 – £27,711 per annum (pay award pending) | Full Time | Permanent
Working within the Revenues and Benefits Team we currently have vacancies for a Benefits and Revenues Officer - responsible for the timely and accurate assessment of claims for Housing Benefit, Council Tax Support, and a Revenues and Benefits Officer – responsible for all aspects of the billing, collection and recovery of Council Tax
Both roles require attention to detail and the ability to digest complex rules and regulations. We pride ourselves on the excellent delivery of our service, as first point of contact for customers, therefore it is essential the successful applicants have excellent communication and customer service skills, experience of working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines as well as having the ability to absorb and apply the requirements of complex legislation.
Whilst relevant knowledge and experience is desirable, full and extensive training in either role will be provided.
These roles will require a DBS check.
