We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and self-motivated to help provide a first class service to our customers. You must be numerate, literate and have good IT skills. Experience of working in a busy Benefits or customer service environment as part of a team is preferable, together with the ability to work to deadlines and to communicate confidently with customers and colleagues.
You will ensure that customers have supplied supporting documents with their Housing Benefit and Council Tax Support claims to enable entitlement to be calculated, contacting customers both in writing and by telephone where further information is needed.
Previous experience of administering claims for Housing Benefit and Council Tax Support would be advantageous, although full training will be provided.
The successful candidate will be subject to a Basic DBS clearance and three years employment referencing.
