We’re looking for a Service Improvement & Performance Senior Officer to lead performance monitoring, drive service improvements, and ensure compliance across our high-profile shared service.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Lead the analysis and reporting of performance data to inform decision-making within the service.
• Oversee data protection, FOI, and Subject Access Request processes, ensuring legal compliance and transparency within the service.
• Manage assigned projects from concept to delivery, driving innovation and continuous improvement for Local Taxation and Benefits Shared Services.
• Support strategic development by providing intelligence to strategic lead within the service, that influences council policy.
• Lead a cross-site team, deputising for the Team Manager – Systems and Control when needed.
• Liaise with ICT and other departments to enhance service delivery.
What You’ll Bring
• Proven experience in leading teams and managing change.
• Strong analytical skills with advanced ICT - for example Power BI, Excel, Business Objects
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Strong understanding of GDPR, FOI, complaints handling, and performance management.
• A proactive, organised approach to managing multiple priorities across sites.

Essential Requirements
• GCSE Grade 4 (C) or equivalent in Maths and English.
• Ability to travel across North and North East Lincolnshire.
• Experience in performance reporting, project management, and service improvement.
