Our Revenues and Benefits team who currently work on Open Revenues software is a shared service responsible for the administration and management of Council Tax and Benefits across three local authorities: Malvern Hills, Worcester City and Wychavon. We play a vital role in processing, maintaining and issuing accurate billing across the area, ensuring residents receive an efficient and reliable service.

 

We are a friendly, proactive and innovative team based in Pershore who value collaboration and continuous improvement. We operate a 60/40 agile working model, balancing office-based teamwork with flexible working. We are looking for hardworking individuals who can work effectively both as part of a team and independently when required, and who are committed to delivering high-quality public services.

 

About you

 

The successful candidate will:

  • Have strong customer service skills, ideally with experience in a Revenues & Benefits environment.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office/365 and comfortable using software systems such as excel, outlook and Teams.
  • Be accurate, detail-focused, and able to manage competing priorities.
  • Work well independently and as part of a team, supporting colleagues when needed.
  • Be confident, calm under pressure, and able to handle difficult situations.
  • Be self-motivated, adaptable, and positive in approach.
