We're looking for a motivated, customer-focused Revenues Officer to join our friendly and supportive Revenues and Benefits team. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your expertise in local taxation while helping residents and businesses manage their Council Tax and Business Rates accounts.
No two days are the same. You'll be at the heart of our revenue collection service, working with customers, applying legislation, resolving complex queries, and helping ensure vital income is collected to fund local services across the borough.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Revenues Officer, you'll play a key role in delivering an efficient and effective service by:
Managing Billing and Collection
Supporting Customers
Recovering Outstanding Debt
Maintaining Accurate Records
Applying Legislation and Policy
Working as Part of a Team
