MAIN DUTIES
• Manage, maintain & update the rate account portfolio of assigned client / clients
• Responsible for maintaining the Colliers Rating System for assigned client / clients
• Checking, calculating, querying and authorising Rate, Council Tax, and Credit demands
• Recording, allocating and ensuring refunds are received and banked in accordance with RICS regulations
• Liaise with Billing Authorities/ Surveyors and Clients regarding lettings, assignments, surrenders, vacations, RV changes, splits or mergers and ensure the database reflects these changes
• Dealing with Summons, Liability Orders and Enforecement Agents
• To assist the Rate Account Team Manager with team responsibilities when requiredTo manage the clients service level agreements, expectations and provide an efficient and well- rounded service.
• Work as a client contact, providing advice, support, reporting function and attending client meetings
• To carry out any other reasonable management requests i.e. answering phones, assisting with opening / distributing the post and general office duties if required
• To be aware of and comply with company and statutory requirements regarding health and safety, fire and hygiene
PERSON SPECIFICATION
• A professional and flexible approach to the work load
• Good organisation and communication skills essential
• Must be a team player with a positive and helpful attitude towards work colleagues
• Must be able to work on own initiative
• Eager to learn and develop skills
• Competent in Microsoft programs
• Previous experience of working in an Rating / Property office environment preferred
Salary negotiable depending on experience
Life Cover - 4 x basic salary

Holiday - 22 days (plus Christmas Closure if any) increasing by a day per year after one year service to a total of 25 days*
