As Principal Revenues & Benefits Manager, you will play a significant role in helping to deliver the Council’s priorities. The collection of Council Tax and Business Rates is key to supporting the Council’s financial resilience and to ensure the ongoing delivery of essential services to Knowsley’s residents.

To be successful, you will have a sound knowledge of revenues and benefits legislation and practice, along with experience of improving financial systems and processes.

You will need to be able to plan and prioritise activities across multiple functions with confidence and have the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.

You will have a strong customer focus with the customer experience at the heart of the services you deliver. You will also have a demonstrable track record of leading, developing and managing highly performing teams.
