The Role:
- In the role of User Testing & Configuration Officer you will manage and configure key software systems for Transactional Services, ensuring they run smoothly and meet operational needs.
- Yoiu, the User Testing & Configuration Officer will plan and carry out user acceptance testing, including writing test scripts, analysing results, and reporting issues to senior managers.
- As the dedicated User Testing & Configuration Officer you will update and maintain system data and settings, such as benefit rates, council tax rules, routing rules, and document templates across all environments.
- Our User Testing & Configuration Officer will work closely with ICT teams and software suppliers, such as NEC, to troubleshoot technical issues, resolve bugs, and maintain system performance.
- In the role of User Testing & Configuration Officer you will be required to support implementation of software changes to keep systems compliant with legislation, improve workflows, and enhance service delivery
- The User Testing & Configuration Officer will monitor and safeguard financial processes, helping to prevent fraud and protect public funds through accurate system configuration
- You, the User Testing & Configuration Officer will contribute to continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to streamline processes and deliver cost-effective, customer-focused services
